By downloading, installing, or using Voice Effect (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Voice Effect is a real-time voice changer and meme soundboard for mobile devices. The App offers:
The App does not require you to register or sign in. You can use all core features anonymously and locally on your device.
You agree not to use the App to:
You are solely responsible for any content you create with the App and for any content you share with other apps, platforms, or people.
The App requires access to your device's microphone to apply real-time voice effects. Audio processing happens on-device. When you choose to record a clip, the resulting file is saved to your device.
You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction regarding the recording and sharing of audio, including but not limited to laws about consent of the parties being recorded.
When you share a clip from Voice Effect to a third-party app or platform, you are subject to that app or platform's terms and policies. We are not responsible for the behavior, terms, or content of any third-party service.
The App, including its design, graphics, audio processing algorithms, included sound effects, sound packs, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, re-publish, or create derivative works of any content from the App, except for personal, non-commercial recordings you create using the App's features.
The bundled meme sounds and sound effects are licensed for use within the App and for sharing of personal recordings to social and messaging platforms. You may not extract, re-distribute, or resell the underlying sound files.
You retain ownership of recordings you create with the App, subject to the rights in the underlying sound effects and your compliance with these Terms and applicable law.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
We may modify these Terms at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We may, at our discretion, discontinue the App or any features at any time.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
